PitStop Petroleum is an independent fuel company which offers small retail site owners premium quality fuels at competitive prices. Although the company was established 2013, its policies were implemented a decade earlier. The story begins in the early 80’s, with a Trek site on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg. Portland Motors was the first site in the area and today stands as a land mark site for PitStop Petroleum. The companies’ philosophy was based on service, reliability and respect thus leading to the company motto “committed to service excellence”. Using these same principles PitStop Petroleum was born.
We specialise in end-to-end products and services across the commercial and retail fuel industry. Our commercial division has a keen understanding of regional and remote conditions and is responsible for the establishment, monitoring and delivery of products and services to industries spanning mining, resources, agriculture and transport, We are also able to offer Bulk fuel supplies, Oils and lubricants and Fuel equipment solutions. We have aligned ourselves with experts in these fields in order to provide advice on all aspects of fuel management.

Retail
PitStop Petroleum hopes to develop a retail footprint across South Africa, so that with ongoing growth in our network of owned, managed and supplied retail sites we can offer greater conveniences for our fuel customers – more places to refill, refuel and unwind.
Cartage
Our sub-contracted cartage division is an industry leader, transporting fuel products for over 30 years. Their reputation is built on reliability of service, strict customer satisfaction and superior health and safety work practices.
