We supply leaded and unleaded petrol as well as diesel 50ppm and diesel 50 base. All our fuels are purchased from refineries and adhere to strict standards. We have maintained a long term relationship with all our transport companies and are proud to be associated with them.

LPG GAS

We currently stock and supply all sizes of LPG Gas, from 9kg to 48kg SV and DV. All our exchange cylinders come sealed directly from the Easigas factory to ensure the highest level of quality control. We refill cadac (or similar) cylinders using LPG filling equipment working on a weight balance method. No cylinders are filled manually.

Motor Oils & Lubricants

We offer a full line of premium conventional motor oils that are specially blended with advanced additive technology and premium SABS approved non-recycled base oils for optimum performance and enhanced engine life.

A brief overview of motor oil grades
The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has established a numerical code system for grading motor oils according to their viscosity characteristics. SAE viscosity gradings include the following, from low to high viscosity: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 or 60. The numbers 0, 5, 10, 15 and 25 are suffixed with the letter W, designating they are "winter" (not "weight") or cold-start viscosity, at lower temperature. The number 20 comes with or without a W, depending on whether it is being used to denote a cold or hot viscosity grade.

Kinematic viscosity is graded by measuring the time it takes for a standard amount of oil to flow through a standard orifice, at standard temperatures. The longer it takes, the higher the viscosity and thus higher SAE code. The SAE has a separate viscosity rating system for gear, axle, and manual transmission oils and should not be confused with engine oil viscosity. The higher numbers of a gear oil (e.g., 75W-140) does not mean that it has higher viscosity than an engine oil.

Portland Ice

Established in 2009, Portland Ice was created as a subsidiary to Portland Motors in order to supply ice to our forecourt.

In this way, we were able to not only establish a demand for the product, but maintain supply as well. This, in conjunction with competitive pricing has seen Portland Ice grow beyond our expectations.
